Here we go again...

by "Mike Tyo" <zx20187@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 5, 2004 at 08:22 PM

Well, all you good people, have you heard or read about this one? I
don't know if it takes the cake, but it sure caught my attention. If you
live in the US, this will apply to you, although I have no reason to
believe
that there aren't similar campaigns elsewhere.

I was listening to the radio this morning, as I usually do during the
week when it's quiet around the house, and I heard that the airlines are
complaining about too much weight in passenger load. Now, I don't know
about you, but I'm a little suspect, as I usually am about these kinds of
things, especially when the concept is to target a group that isn't too
well
liked at the moment. They can throw all kinds of stats out there that
suggest that more fuel is being used as more and more people become
overweight <cough-hack-huck-hack> and obese <cough-hack-huck>. Now come
on,
it hasn't been healthy for people to fly for years now as they pack them
in
there like friggin' sardines! I used to fly a lot, and you know what? I
got damn tired of practically being on top of other passengers putting up
with their bull ****.

I hear that they wanna remove magazines to cut down on the weight, and

they wanna redesign the seats to be of a lighter construction. Okay, I
can
go along with improving the structure to lessen the weight of the
aircraft,
and I can go along with improving the fuel efficiency, but are you gonna
stand by and let some punk tell you that your weight is contributing to
more
pollution, hmm? Bull ****!

Soooooooo what does this all mean? Well I suppose that one would
conclude that if you're thinking about getting on an airplane to go
somewhere, think again. You should never go near an air****t unless you're

picking somebody up...But then, you might cause another problem driving
your
car or adding to the weight of an already taxed bus as you're causing more

pollution while making your way there.

Man, when is this crap gonna stop?!

Mike
