Had a few minutes tonight (and I'm still not back on the eastern time
zone after a 4 day trip to the west coast), played around on Google,
and found a way back to the newsgroup (Bell Sympatico killed it years
ago: that's why I stopped posting)
I see some familiar names around, which makes it feel like I'm coming
home.
I have been smoke free since Jan 20, 2002. Not one puff.
That, despite
losing a cat to cancer
splitting up with Ash after 17 years
having the company I work for sold
And sold again
And having whole new job duties
Having an uncle with a brain tumour that turned out to be a secondary
lung cancer tumour
Taking him to his monthly oncologist meetings
Dealing with his death
And gaining a lot of weight
You know why I don't smoke?
Because then I'd still have the problems, except I'd have to deal with
the problems caused by smoking as well!
