Sorry I haven't checked in sooner, but life at work is hectic after
you've been gone for two days. I just wanted to pop in and say "Hi".
Hi :-)
Our trip to NYC was very nice. Hot, but nice. It was refre****ng to
be able to go into a bar and not have to put up with cigarette smoke.
I'm glad they passed the ban, but I wonder. I think the air in New
York will probably kill you more quickly than cigarettes. But it was
nice to sit at a bar and not be bothered by smoke.
We did the tourist thing after we sang at St. Pat's and saw lots of
cool places I'm always reading about in my murder mystery fiction
novels. The family went to see "Lion King", so we're now no longer
the only parents in the world who haven't seen it. Although, I think
my 14 year old son would have enjoyed "Spamalot" more. Oh, well.
Maybe next time.
Take care and don't smoke. I'll try to devote some time to the group,
but I'm still catching up at work.
