Non-smokers seldom think about smoking unless a smoker invades their fresh
air space.
The people that have never picked up the habit certainly don't think about
smoking much at all.
Quitters usually think about (not smoking) a lot. When they wake up,
after
having coffee, having a drink, on a smoke break, when a friend lights up,
and the many other triggers that most of us know about. To really quit
for
good it might help to start thinking like a person who never smoked.
When we think about not smoking a lot, just the thought of not smoking can
make a crave materialize. But if we can reset our mind to that of a
non-smoker, we wake up in the morning with a clearer mind and stop
thinking
about (not smoking) or smoking, or anything remotely associated with
smoking.
I guess that I seldom post to this group much any more because I consider
myself a (former smoker) and not a quitter now. Maybe that is a good
thing,
not maybe, hell yeah that's good.
I have been quit for 7 Months, 3 Weeks, 3 Days, 11 hours and 20 minutes
(237
days). I have saved $522.43 by not smoking 474 cigars. I have saved 1 Day,
15 hours and 30 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 11/15/2007 10:00 PM
