Admittedly, I do tend to lean a bit towards the left. Those "liberal
journalists," you know. However, I am staunchly right-wing on some
things. Go figure.
That said, one of the things I value most about this group is our
diversity. I think it's amazing that a group of us who are so
different, from all walks of life, all over the world, can find
friend****p here, and some common ground -- even if it's just that we
are quitting smoking.
I don't think we could ever expect such a diverse group of people to
agree on everything. And quite honestly, I think this group would be
super boring if we did.
So while I tend to duck political discussions -- even if they just
discuss political issues without naming any political party --I do
welcome divergent viewpoints. What's that saying? I may not agree with
what you say, but I will defend to my death your right to say it.
