I'm counting in days now, rather than hours.
A lot of people have said that I should use a quit meter.
I see where they're coming from, but personally, I don't want to be
reminded
that I'm not smoking.
However, that's not to say I don't have a quit meter. It's simply that I
have one on a hidden page on a website I run. That way, I can check it
when
I want to, rather than having it sitting in the taskbar (or icon tray),
and
subconsciously reminding me what I'm "missing" (Yes, yes, I'm not missing
anything.. but you know what I mean).
I also travel quite a bit, so if I have it on-line, it means I can also
check it from my phone/PDA/etc.
Currently it says:
"5 days, 0 hours and a bit"
(and that's because I don't really want to count the minutes/seconds/etc,
and I also don't care about money saved at this point. Right now, I just
don't want to smoke. End of).
