This morning I was tottering round looking for certain lost items to
return to their familiar old places in the house. One I was always fond
of was a talking clock in the shape of a cube about 3 inch all round,
with a
single button to hit to make it speak the time.
I've had it maybe e 15 years beside various beds in two countries.
At one point, in the computer room, I picked up a carton and put it
down again with a bump, and a little voice said: "Ten twenty-five
ayem".
Hello, I thought, either I'm hallucinating or that clock is trying to tell
me something, like Help, I'm in here! Went into the box, dug out some
stuff, and sure enough,
there was the little darling ready for duty once more!
Makes yu fink, dunnit ....
