Things certainly do look gloomy all round, in most countries. It won't
last forever but it'll be fairly horrible for almost everyone.
No I don't offer sympathy, you don't want that, but I   *can* empathize:
I've been there, and it was no fun;  you don't forget it easy.
Not being familiar with the employment setup in the States I can't offer
practical advice as others have done  but do know that your plight
sickens me and I just
hope you beat the system and come out on top.
Meanwhile, you can always pop inhere for a chat or a rant or a joke:
We're all dealing with varying varieties of Life's  horrors and mutual
sup****t  is invaluable when things get intolerable.
