I just wanted to step out of the Louie thread and say thank you to
everyone who wrote and shared their own good wishes and, in some cases,
stories about their own beloved pets. There is something about a love
for animals that transcends differences and brings people closer.
Louie came home from the hospital yesterday. He did well with the
procedure and we will have all the test results in sometime next week.
At this time the doctor will devise a treatment plan for him, so that we
can either begin to get him back on track or, if there is cancer in the
intestines, make him comfortable for whatever time he has left.
He's still pretty miserable as they haven't started any treatment and
the drugs he does take are no longer working for him. But I have hope
that he'll at least be feeling better soon.
Anyway, thanks again. I posted this in the other thread, but for those
who want to know what Louie looks like, here is his picture:
