I'd been suffering increasing breathlessness on even slight exertion,
and coughing up some nasty goo, and a slight pain in the left chest.
So I got myself taken to the doctor this morning, was put on a gadget
that pumps some air plus something else into your mouth that you
breathe in, it is supposed to enlarge the passageways in the lungs and
improve the breathing.
My oxygen level in the bloodstream was low: 93. Hasd a blood sample
taken from which I imagine he will pinpoint the cause. And an injection
in the hip, and I am now on two medicines, one is a steroid and one an
antibiotic.
This may clear it up. I want to be fit on Tuesday when I make the move
back to the house.
It was over 90 f out there, and when I got back I checked my blood
pressure - I am taking no medicine for it on the doctor's instructions -
and it was a horrifying 80 over 50!
However it picked up a little later and got back to more or less normal
figures.
