OT -- Mrs Android -- Update

An Update ...

We went on Sunday to visit her, the kids and I.  She was in pretty rough 
shape.  She hadn't slept much, was still in constant pain and had the 
joy of a student doctor come by to ask if maybe it wasn't just a pulled 
muscle.

Luckily I wasn't there when Doogie Howser came by ... 'Yeah Doogie! I 
****ing told her benching 300lbs was too much and that she should just 
have stuck with the 200.  How can you spend years studying to be a 
doctor and not take the 10 ****ing minutes it would require to read her 
chart and realize she has fluid around her heart????' ... Luckily ... I 
wasn't there.

Yesterday we went again and were relieved to see her playing her 
Nintendo DS and to hear her say that this was the first time in weeks 
she wasn't in constant pain.  Moving and getting around still cause her 
discomfort but at least when she's in a rest position she can be
pain-free.

Today I stayed home.  Some of her family who were passing thru town 
stopped to see her.  I sent my SIL who's been power-cleaning the house 
for us to go visit with her today.  A former co-worker of Mrs A's went 
last night.

So -- the plan is for her to come home tomorrow.  Apparently an 
echo-cardiogram came out fine and I don't believe there were any 
indicators of heart damage.  Blood indicators for inflammation seem to 
be trending downwards (they gave her anti-inflammatory meds which I 
thought were a no-no because of blood-thinners but they thought in a 
well monitored environment they could do it ... anyhow they seem to be 
working).

The owner of the bakery is still in Quebec at his cottage to my 
knowledge so I have no back-up at work.  I've decided to just slug it 
out this week (6 nights since I took his Sunday night in return for the 
time off last week).  I don't want to work any more Sundays.

So Mrs A will be home tomorrow. My SIL will be here until Thursday (she 
will be taking my youngest with her for a few weeks to visit family at 
the other end of the province).  My eldest is in Toronto until Thursday 
on a school trip.  I think I've got all the bases covered until Saturday 
when I'm done ... my eldest can prep Mrs A's breakfast for her.

It's been a psychotic week and it's only Tuesday ( although it feels 
like Wednesday or Thursday).

The only thing I'm worrying about right now is if Mrs A's other sister 
(300lbs, depressed, double hip replacements and limited mobility) 
follows thru and comes to visit on Thursday.  I honestly love her and 
wish her only the best but I honestly can't see her visit being helpful 
for Mrs A or myself.  Just my thoughts ... might seem heartless but I 
have to look out for my myself too eh.  I'm still stressing.

So that's it ... I have to finish power-cleaning my bedroom.
