In 10 months...
I've found more personal triggers (stress, shoulder that keeps getting
a knotted muscle in it, the punctuation/dessert reward substitute,
lower back pain) and defeated them. I keep finding more and more of
them, but it's easier every day.
I've had to buy more pants, waist expanding... that is from my age and
the fact that my wife is shrinking them in the dryer. One pair one
size fits perfect, another pair same brand and waist size is too
small, can't do them up.
I realized after a 2 hour trip driving with a heavy smoker that the
smell did not bother me, or make me angry or ill or disgusted. I
didn't even notice that they were smoking till the next day.
I still get smoking dreams, but not as vivid, and I recognize right
away that they are dreams, anything my brain can churn out during gets
countered by my willpower subconciously.
I've taken the time to smell the flowers, get sunburned, get sneered
at for sunflower seed spitting into a cup...
I haven't kept up with my blog... but it's on my shrinking to do list.
I'm actually using 'To Do' lists. I've been thinking about using it
for a springboard of serial series stories
I prefer living under the harsh truth of smobriety and write about
fantastic fictional places and people. The lies that I will create in
stories are only to bring joy, delight, wonder, laughter, horror, and
other emotional movement, but never ever for self delusion or self
abuse.
But one of the best parts is...
