Well, gang, I have completed two rounds of contacting everyone who is
on the current quitlist and over 80% of you have responded. I've
written to the others here on AS3 who do some of the behind the scenes
stuff to get some clarity and my plan is this: there will be no
QuitList published this Friday. Rather, I will post again the folk
who are missing in action as well as the folk who had their emails
bounce. I am hoping between my posting today and this coming Friday
I'll have enough stragglers contact me that the list will be more
rebost when I post it. If any of you reading the list see someone on
the list who might have missed this, do all of us a favour and drop
them a note. People change emails often and miss yearly emails of
this nature by accident.
My plan is to post the NEWLY VERIFIED quitlist this coming Sunday,
June 1st. I will then post it on Fridays as usual after that. I will
post weekly the 'missing in action' list for the month of June and
then monthly after that but the quitlist will be the one that is
verified for 2008.
I do enjoy doing this service for AS3 and feel it's another way for me
to be connected and remain smober. If any of you have a better idea
on this proposal feel free to chime in here. Most of the folk who did
respond were glad to get the email this year and some of the lurkers
who are OF+ did end up doing some posting which I found great. We are
a family of folk here dedicated to gaining smobriety and I love to see
a lot of postings.
