I don't come here very often, but do make it on my quit anniversary every
year. Many of you who read my 8 year anniversary post yesterday had such
nice kind words to say to me. It is great to know that my few words have
made a difference for some of you. Thank you all for letting me know.
What really strikes me is how many of us who have several years on our
meters still come back to share our milestones. That so many of us who
made
it continue for years to note, and even celebrate the passing of each
milestone speaks volumes as to what a significant life event it is to
quit,
particularly for those of us who smoked for many years.
So for all of you that have found freedom, congratulations, and I am
grateful to be in your company. To those who are still struggling, I look
forward to you joining us and feeling the joy and pride we feel.
