I have found that as long as you have a fresh appliance on, there is no 
immediate degradation of the adhesive for a single session in a hot tub.
It 
will however shorten your wear time the more you bathe in one. Thats been
my 
experience. I use a 2 piece Stomahesive with powder and Eakin Seal as
extra 
security.
