Of course, I have no idea what you've already tried, but as a professional
cleaner, I have found that scrubbing using a plastic abrasive (scotchbrite
green) pad with Comet or Ajax abrasive cleaner and vinegar-water solution
will take anything off, and doesn't damage most surfaces. I've used this
to
easily remove years of floorwax buildup from chrome baseboards when even a
scraper wouldn't do the job.
It's best to wear gloves, although it's not too harsh.
Use elbow grease if necessary.
If that fails and nobody else suggests anything, call the company and ask
about removal techniques. Oil-based cleaners such as orange oil may work
well, since they would destroy adhesive, but be sure to rinse the shower
well after using an oil-based cleanser, to avoid slipping next time you
shower.
