I have a Urostomy. No real problems with it, except I have a hernia (of
course) underneath my stoma. My guess is, that's pretty normal from
having
to cut through the muscle to create the stoma.
First, I wear a hernia belt for sup****t, but I take it off at night.
Should
I be wearing it 24/7 and not take it off at night? Is it supposed to help
'heal' a hernia, or does it just help prevent it from getting any worse?
Second question (or third..:-)...what is a stoma cap for? What does it
do?
Anyone's help is greatly appreciated.
