Hello, I have a colostoma since 2001 and fly regularly (about 5 times
a year), mostly in Europe, sometimes to the USA, recently to Asia.
I never had anything to explain because of my ostomy, except for once
in US when my handluggage was manually checked. I called the
appliances "special bandages", which they accepted.
To my opinion people who will check you will have no idea about
ostomy. So better not try to explain.
