What to do with Appliances- Update

by Janet Wilder <kelliepoodle@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 13, 2006 at 05:48 PM

I contacted the local Ostomy-Wound Care Nurse and she will be delighted
to take all of the stuff with the exception of the open bottle of stoma
powder. She will take the wafers and bags and clips, etc. She was very
excited about it. There are many poor people in her care who can't
afford their supplies. She was thrilled about the Eakins seals and the
bags with the filters and velcro. I'll see her next week and turn them
over.

I feel warm and fuzzy about giving the stuff to those who need it. It's
a good way to show my thankfulness at having been restored to my
"original equipment" state.

I'm just a day past two weeks since my reversal and the pain at the
incision is beginning to diminish a little.

I wish you all a happy holiday season and good health in the coming year.

I'm going to drop off this group but I thank all of you for your sup****t
when I needed it.

Janet
