I was in the hospital getting my colostomy reversed on 11/28. Everything 
went well. I came home today (Sunday). I'm sore at the incision, but 
otherwise happy. I only lost about 2 inches of colon and I have about 6 
feet left, so the doctors tell me.

I see the surgeon for a recheck on Friday and if all's well, we can fire 
up our motorhome and go home.

I have lots of bags and equipment. I'm thinking of calling the local 
ostomy wound care nurse and donating it so some poor person can use it. 
They are expensive velcro-filtered bags that medicare might not pay for.

Do you think this is a good idea?
