I have what I call a dead leg: my right leg sort of locks up and is very =
difficult to bend at the knee. I have virtually no feeling in my right =
leg. About once every six months I get Botox injections in my right =
quadricep. It hurt like hell; my doctor at the Shepherd center who get =
these shots is hesitant to do so. It takes about a week or so before my =
right leg is less dead. Aside from the pain -- I swear it appears the =
injections are made with 4 foot needles, each of which must be rusty and =
dull -- I don't see any downside risk.
Does anybody else get Botox injections? What are the pros and what are =
the cons?
