Thanks for the info and I will read that one too but before I do, I have
read other similar ideas about mimicry and while it has some definite
things
to think about, it just isn't "right" enough so far as I am concerned.
I don't know what to call a keloid condition but it is one that constantly
heals scars etc. In short it is basically a body self repair thing that
has
gone wild and my view of MS has been (incorrectly or not I admit) that it
is
the body attacking itself or a defence mechanism gone wild. So why go wild
in either case? Eg, how does a healthy body know a small cut on the arm
has
been done and it should stop healing now and why does a keloid sufferer's
body just keep going? Similarly, why do those rare people who never stop
growing until that kills them have their bodies do that? I knew one such
guy
when I was a kid. He was an elder cousin's friend and was around 7 and a
half feet tall and never stopped growing until about 25 when it killed
him.
I am not trying to put forward anything to explain them all but I just
happen to think that there could be a simple answer to all these things
and
that we are currently looking in the wrong direction. What, theoretically,
could be a reason that myelin is seen as bad by the body? What, in the
body,
produces myelin and is it possible that the body thinks that it being
overproduced for example?
Yes, all this sounds stupid. You don't have to tell me. However, I have
waited for a while and I am impatient now. I would like an answer and I
don't think it has less chance of being found because I am wondering than
it
would if I didn't come up with possibilities. :)
