ummmm i wasn't sup****ting any particular opinion, i was only pointing 
out how i thought you'd misunderstood the OP's message.

and ... the ticks he's talking about are minuscule, not like the honking 
big buggers we get in sydney! the information online suggests they can 
strike without being seen, noticed, or causing any immediate symptoms.
