So we have what, 6,000,000,000 people approximately in the world and you 
think that even 0.01% of people, if that is what it was, wouldnt be a lot?

No, the fact is that tick strike in the Sydney region does happen but many

people go their whole lives without ever coming into contact with them let

alone being hit by one.
