HI there, just wanted to ask soe advice...

Hi everyone, I am having trouble again. It is not MS related this
time, though. I have been having bad pain in my left side and lower
back for a while, on and off. I have also been vomiting quite a bit
for the last month and a half, sometimes so bad I cannot keep anything
down. I woke up Sunday morning in so much pain that I ended up going
to the emergency room for it. After many tests like blood tests, urine
tests and a pelvic exacm they did an x-ray of my abdomen. What they
found was something called Splenic Flexure Syndrome, aka gas trapped.
The doc also said my colon had doubled over on top of itself causing a
bad blockage. He said it would cause me pain on and off for the rest
of my life. That made me a litle upset because I feel like nothing on
me works quite right any more. He gave me some lortabs and had me
drink some magnesium citrate to give me diarrhea, which worked but not
well enough. I was feeling a little better for a day or so but not
100%. I was still very nauseus. Today I went back to work and ended up
puking and doubled over the sink in awful cramping pain. They sent me
home and assured me I weould not lose my job. I have had to call in a
few times over this and over my stupid headaches. When I got home I
called the emergency room and they said to drink another bottle of mag
citrate and if I am not better to make an appointment with a surgeon
to have it surgically straightened. I am worried and am wondering if
this will have any impact on my MS. I know when I had my brain surgery
I was paralysed due to having my immne system kicking in and the MS
kickin into overdrive. I am hoping it wont happen that way this time.
Any advice for me? I am in terrible pain and feel like screaming.
Please give me some advice or words of encouragement, I need it.
