I've been lurking around this newsgroup to see if someone has the same
symptoms I do. I don't know if it's GERD but I believe my Uncle had
acid reflux that made him cringe. I have never had a problem with
heartburn until recently.
I experience a burning in my chest sometimes in the center but
sometimes about 2 inches above my left nipple. It then will throb pain
into my neck or into my left arm by the elbow and wrist. The pain will
stop usually within 90 seconds. Boom gone like nothing was wrong. I've
had it while walking, while sitting calmly on the computer, or
driving.
I don't know if this is heartburn or GERD or something different.
Anyone have similar symptoms?
