Went to my ENT doctor yesterday in Tokyo, Japan where I live. I asked
him if I had GERD, he said from the endoscopy three months ago it
didnt seem like it. He looked at my throat and it was the same as
before- smooth and slightly swollen left piryform sinus mucosal
membrane. He did say though that he wasnt a gastroentrologist.
Anyway, I asked if it would be ok to try omeprazole. He looked and
they didnt have it he said they used sodium raberprazole. Is this
ok? He gave me 28 days worth, you take it once a day after breakfast
10 mg. The Japanese have a habit of giving lower doses than in the
West, is 10mg too low? I am a big guy- 90kg and tall. b
He said i could try it and see it made any difference. I guess this
is a good plan, right? It is safe, right?
