I have found that towards the end of my working week in the evenings I
get what I think might be GERD symptoms in my throat. I have already
seen and ear, nose and throat specialist who told me my membrane near
my laryx was inflammed from looking at it with his camera. He also
sent me for an endoscopy to look for a hernia. They didnt find one
and no biopsy was done either. Should I see just another ear, nose
and throat specialist for another opinion or even go for another
endoscopy and this time biopsy and possible other tests? Or should I
just try gaviscon and then omazoprole?
The reason I am asking, is my GP, Primary Care doctor where I live
told me to leave it. He old me that if I go and see another
specialist I may get another opinion on my condition and that will
confuse me. But was is wrong with just seeing another ENT specialist.
