Iron, Calcium and Thyroid Supplements

by starwarsmum <mum2my2boys@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 2, 2007 at 04:00 PM

I'm hoping some of you have some experience with this :) I need to
take the above supplements and I'm wondering how to do it in
combination with Nexium before breakfast and ranitidine at bedtime.
>From what I've read, the iron shouldn't be taken with the other two,
and is best with vit C and some stomach acid. Are vitamin C
supplements really damaging to the esophagus? I've read that but I'm
not sure if it's true. I take a combo calcium, and I drink calcium OJ
and soy milk and a bit of dairy but I've read that calcium can
interfere with iron absorption. Help!!!! My doctor just tells me to
take them all, but I don't want to take any more than I have to. The
thyroid problem is new, just discovered this week so I have no
experience taking those supplements.

Thanks!
Amy
