Greetings-
I am coming to this group for some answers I can't find through
medical testing hoping real life experiences may have some answers or
point me in the right direction.
My wife 47 yrs old 120# (quintuple BP surgery in 11/2002) she eats
right and exercises regularly. No problems until about 2 months ago.
She had her semi annual heart cath last November and everything looked
excellent. all graphs fine 100% open, my wife did not have a heart
attach found the blockage after her 38 yr old sister had a heart
attack.
My wifes problems are genetics her veins and arteries are 20% the size
in diameter of a normal women.
She has been having trouble the last 2 months with lower jaw and back
pain when exercising.
Heart problems! They say no.
She had a cath last Tuesday an upper GI and the Doc indicated she has
GERD.
She is on meds for GERD but whenever she eats or moves more than a
normal walk extreme lower jaw pain. We have had her pancreas,
gallbladder, lungs, apendix, caratid artery <sp>(Neck area).
Everything checked and they say it is GERD. My wife does get anxiety
and has xanax for this.
I apologize for the long post just love my wife and am grasping for
answers.
Anyone else with GERD and no heart disease have lower jaw pain?
Mayo clinic in MN is our next stop.
Thank you for your time,
Ken
