How the Group Started

by Ken <kkerrison@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 14, 2008 at 06:29 PM

Here is the first message posted to the group in September 1995 (I am
surprised the group is only 13 years old):

 From Steve Hoffman

Bob - I just started a new group today: alt.sup****t.hearing-
loss Set up specifically for questions like this. I'll cross-
post this over there, and see what happens. You might also
try: alt.sup****t.tinnitus This is where many of these
questions have gone in the past. Or email me and we can discuss the
various types of aids available. You might want to check out the
11/92 issue of Consumer Re****ts - a bit old, but a good place to
start. And make sure you see a qualified audiologist before
purchasing any aids. Good luck! Steve
