Do not look if you don't have a small-point soldering iron and some
solder.
This idea works for me -- several years now -- and beats my hearing aid.
Two im****tant points: adjustment of the frequency response and having
the microphone a few inches from the TV speaker.
Get the cheapest ear buds with volume control. Expensive buds just
boost the lows and blur the words. (Or use headphones if you wish.)
