frequency compression - Widex Inteo

by Ken <kkerrison@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jul 26, 2008 at 06:56 PM

In another thread someone mentioned that the Widex Inteo, as well as
the new Pho**** aid and the old Sonovation Impact, use frequency
compression (which brings sounds which are supersonic to those with
high-frequency loss, within their hearing range).
Here is a link:

Do others share my disgust at the way virtually all hearing aid sites/
literature patronise their potential customers by consisting mainly of
empty puff instead of clear information on the technology - how it
works and what it does? The above site claims to be aimed at
experienced hearing aid wearers. I would hate to see their blurb for
newbys!
