HI Paul... God bless you and your boys.
It should like you lost your beautiful wife quickly to this horrible
disease. It hardly gives one time to process.
Anger is normal... even, or rather, especially with those we love.
Professional help.. having someone who is not directly connected to
Katherine to talk to, is a wonderful option.
My also beautiful daughter is battling melanoma now.. I know I will
lose her soon. Drs. have not said that but I can see it.
My grieving has already begun and will continue my entire life... you
cannot just throw water on this fire and extinguish it.
You may decide to date again, you may even marry again but Katherine
will always be your first wife, the mother of your sons. That bond
will never be broken, not by time, space or death.
Being a single parent is difficult, (having been one) but those little
boy (or girl in my case) hugs, kisses make up for all the difficulty.
It may take years until you can look back to see that though !
Hang in there.. keep in touch.
MaryLou
