These signs are so personal and so precious, aren't they.  But I
wonder about reading too much into or out of the little meaningful
things we notice.  A sign? Sure.  A message?  Maybe the "take home
message" is: 

You are a good mom.  
He is all right.
He is with you.  
(fill in your own thought here)

My mother loved nature, loved birds - a special fondness for
meadowlarks.  We could be somewhere with a lot of background noise and
she would stop and say, "Listen:  meadowlark!"  So many times in these
past years that she has been gone, I will be stopped suddenly by the
sound of a meadowlark.  "Listen,"  I say to myself, "There's Mom's
Lark!"  A sign?  I like to think so.  The message?  Maybe it is this:
Love Endures.
