Re: Been awhile...

HERE I AM!!!!!!  Looks like we have a tendency to drop in around "the
time". Mindi is ten years this July. Seems hard to fathom! My life has
changed so much in the last ten years. My hubby retired nine years ago.
We have had a closeness that we were never able to have before. We each
had a child when we married and Mindi was handicapped so children kind
of took the front burner. Now we have a place in Arizona where we fly to
every couple of months for a couple of weeks courtesy of our yougest.
She works for Alaska Airlines so we fly free. So we have a home in WA
State and AZ. We still have our little dog Fifi. She is just about 8
years old. She is our baby and the love of our life!
This year HAS been hard on me though. One being as it is 10 years.
"They" say each 5 years is hard. I experianced it on the 5 and now the
10. Of course nothing like those beginning years. Wouldn't want to go
thru that ever again! Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy! It sure messed
up my health too. In fact, I just applied for disability. Just can't
work anymore and at this rate we need more money for gas! Geeze!!!
Another thing that has happened is both sad and happy. Sad because I
know how excited Mindi would have been. I can hear her now"talking"
about it. Oh. What is it? Take a look.

That is my Hubby, Me and........OUR GRANDSON!!!!!!! My first. He was
born Feb 10th. His name is Riley. Riley James McGee. My youngest
daughter married Apri 24th, 2007 and they started trying right
away.......and she got pregnant right away. Ahhhhhhh, being a Grandma is
wonderful! Actually, I am NanaBanana. hehe They live 3 hours away. I am
going down June 7th and get to take care of him till the 11th while she
is at work. I'm going to do this once a month. And Riley has already
been to Arizona! LOL
