Sounds like you are enjoying your retirement Jo...can't wait till I can
retire, we're getting ready to move to another apartment here shortly, one
with a balcony that I can sit on and not be cooped up inside. My only
surviving son is planning a wedding soon here in Kentucky, and they are
going to plan on having a baby too so I'm glad I'm nearby for that. I
remember Wally and the month of May, Busters will be in June....11 years
it
just doesn't seem possible, but no matter how much time goes by this will
always feel like home to me. ((hugs)) to you and yours.

Hi Daisy! I know alot has happen with those that stop coming here so
much...our lives do go on...
I just quit one board(depression) I was posting at for about as long
as this grief group...not that I
don't still let my depression get the best of me at times but so many
I knew from that board
also moved on and it just didn't feel the same. I think I will always
come back here every so too...
so many of us have shared our deceased love ones over the years and
have comforted one
and it just feel comforting to have others understand what you are
going through as you hope
to reach out and comfort anyone else that goes through the grieving
process as well. I feel
our love ones in Heaven does not have clocks or have to deal with
time like we do still here
while on earth. I think often of you girls/guys here and hope you are
doing ok. On Monday,
I will make a post for and about my son Wally...since every year on
May 26th, will be another
year without him physically with us here. But he will always be in my
heart and always will be
loved by me and family.
I have since retired and enjoying it! I have 3 dogs and try to "not"
have more than 3 at a time! ;)
My dh also retired but went back to work-only he is working with a
friend on homes so he can set
his own hours AND have weekends off-which he ends up using to either
mow our home or the church
or other people's lawns(another small business )and he is also very
busy in a Mexico mission work from church.
How have you been? Have you heard any from Frannie? I miss her too
and of course all the ones
we knew way back when...I am grateful Daniel stays to keep this place
going too! ;) and I have
gotten to know a few more along the way...though I also agree-I wish
we didn't have a love one
