A new look and feel for our small suicide survivors' sup****t group

by wettenhall@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sep 21, 2005 at 01:39 AM

Hi,

I'm a suicide survivor. I lost my mother to depression/suicide/hanging
on October 2nd, 2004.

I'm not trying to steal anyone away from Usenet/Google sup****t groups
they are happy with, but we have a small online sup****t group for
people who have lost a loved one to suicide, and we have recently given
it a fresh new look and feel, so if you want to check it out, here it
is:
http://www.jameswhome.net/WhenALovedOneCommitsSuicide/

It started out as an MSN group with the same name "When A Loved One
Commits Suicide", created by Katie, one of our most active members, who
has become a very close online friend of mine, and I have actually met
her face-to-face now, even though she lives in Canada and I live in
Australia. After some frustrations with MSN, the group moved to Yahoo
for a short while. Now it's being hosted by me, using a
less-well-known message-board system called phpBB.

Anyone can read the messages, but you need to register before you can
post messages to the group. Registration is free, and it is perfectly
acceptable to make up a false name and create a free email address
(e.g. Hotmail or Yahoo) to use with that false name if you want to.

Take care,
James
