Alissa Ulster –
Social Worker, The Hospital for Sick Children, will discuss the impact
of chronic conditions on children, famillies and related stress
management.
Dr. Asim Ali –
Staff Ophthalmologist, The Hospital for Sick Children, will provide an
update on various treatments for cataracts such as contacts, implants
and gl*****; their respective visual outcomes and current research.
Dr. Sharon Freedman –
Professor of Ophthalmology, Duke University Eye Center, will provide
an update on the most common treatments, and current research.
Dr. Alex Levin –
Staff Ophthalmologist, The Hospital for Sick Children, will review
current findings on the genetics of the most common forms of pediatric
cataract and glaucoma tohelp patients and families with decisions
around family planning or treatment options.
