I also have multiple allergies and am overweight.  I was told by a 
nutritionist once, in essence, that my diet might be lacking some 
nutrients which could be contributing to my overeating because I was 
trying to get enough of those ones into me.  In other words, if I got my 
body's actual nutritional needs met, I might have less cravings.
Did this work for me?  Well that's another story ...
