Yuck, somebody told me about that at Dick Gaughan's birthday do on
Saturday. I had the same about three years ago - they did the surgery
within a few days. I was in hospital for a couple of days (longer
than usual, I went into shock) but was lifting heavy weights a week
later. So it shouldn't be too bad.

I have been continuing my experiments with the ice cream maker. Last
night's was bananas and stem ginger liquidized with a hand blender and
with gluten-free muesli-like breakfast cereal added for crunchy bits.
Almost zero fat, fairly high calories.
