I have a milk allergy.  There are cheese alternatives.  I just ordered
some 
new stuff.  Haven't tried it yet.  I eat a vegan rice cheese.  It's very 
good on pizza or nachos or in casseroles.  Even good on a sandwich.  Just 
have to make sure it is the vegan one because the other kind for some odd 
reason contains casein.

I eat Parma! on pasta.  It's a nut based parmesan sub.  You might not be 
able to do that because of the gallbladder.  I am not sure.  Nutritional 
yeast is another option.  It lends a cheesy flavor.

My daughter drinks rice milk.  She likes it.  I never was a milk lover so
I 
don't miss it.  Vance's Dari Free is another option, but it's rather
sweet.
