Citric acid E330 acidity regulator

by david.cams@[EMAIL PROTECTED] Oct 7, 2007 at 12:02 AM

Does anyone have any health problems after eating foods that have the
additive E330 in them? Is it possible that citric acid could, for
example, cause or accentuate ectopic heart beats?

I see that several commercially available drinks on sale say in large
print that they contain no preservatives, but then in the fine print
they say that the drinks contain E330 acidity regulator. But isn't
E330 (food acid) a preservative as well?

Thanks for your advice.

David
