Yes, I think you've made an im****tant point. It's not so much God
puni****ng us, it's us not recognizing the way things work. Push on
something, it pushes back. Step out of a window, gravity makes you
fall. God doesn't punish you for stepping out of a window; it's how
things work in this world.
