Hi. My name is Laurie and I'm looking to find out the cause of a bulge
in my groin area. I had two surgeons say it was a femoral hernia & had
surgery in August. During the surgery my doctor said he found another
femoral hernia & repaired both. The problem is this. I still have a
bulge in that area. I have had several ultrasounds & nothing has shown
up. The bulge actually swells and will be there for several days &
then goes down & then swells & comes back up. It gets painful & feels
as if something is tearing away. I'm rather leary of seeing another
surgeon as I'm wondering if I was misdiagnosed & had painful surgery
for nothing. Can anyone out there offer any suggestions? I would be
most appreciative.
