Ovarian Remnant Syndrome
is a condition where even after a total hysterectomy, endometriosis
continues.
This is cause by ovarian tissue, however tiny, residing in tissue that
was adjacent to the ovary/s. The ovaries are removed but because they
adhered to surrounding tissues, not all of the ovary is removed.
If there is the slightest amount of ovarian tissue remaining, then that
tissue continues to send out hormones that continues to create
endometriosis.
My ex-wife had this condition and was cured at the Mayo Clinic in
Rochester, Minnesota, USA by Dr. Raymond Lee.
