Schedule an appt with your doc or even just a consult and share your
concerns..... and let him/her tell you why s/he thinks it would (or
wouldn't) still be in your best interest to take these meds or to
provide you with a list of treatment options of which this is only
one.....
I'm assuming from what you said that Prometrium is a progesterone
pill??? I was on Micronor for a few years postlap and my biggest
concern/worry/freakout was that I would develop PCOS as a result -- the
worst that actrually happened was the equivalent of a first trimester
of pregnancy (morning sickness, breast swelling, etc.) and a ton of
weight gain that kept gaining and is just now coming off -- not 100%
attributable to the meds but I know they played a signif. part it in.
Anyway, talk to your doctor.....be open and honest.....
