Re: Endo Stage IV

I had stage 4 endo- I am blessed that I was able to adopt a beautiful
baby boy in 2003 we even got to be in the room at the time of birth- at
that time I had undergone 5 IVF's (they all failed-never even got
pregnant) then had 7 very big surgeries (8 hours each) to remove cysts,
adhesions, ect. THEN WHEN MY SON WAS 4 MONTHS OLD WE DID OUR 6 AND
FINAL ROUND OF IVF and it worked (what a miracle) so then when our 2nd
son was 10 months old and I still had not had a period and was having
bad pelvic pain and sever pain when i had intercourse that it would be
best to a total hysterectomy (remove tubes, overies, uterus and my
cervix) I had that done by my doc that had done my other surgeries-he
is a gyn oncoligist. 2 months after my hyster- pain came back. it has
been 14 months since my hyster and they just found cyst the size of a
golf ball in my lower left pelvis and I have something else called
vulvadynia? spelling,......that is what is causing all the pain during
intercourse. What do I do now?? I am feeling so frusterated and mad
and sad and I feel like now what and the oncologist acts like it is par
for the course my obgyn who diagnosed the vulvadynia is great and
finally i have an explanantion but the treatment is long and I would
just prefer them to take out part of my vulva (whih I have read is very
succesful) the cyst thing everyone wants to wait (have me do lupron and
see if that shrinks them) no one really wants to go into surgery even
by scope becasue they say it is such a mess. What about what I want
and my quanlity of life?? Can anyone relate- please respond or email
me at courtneyfroien@[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I am just curious what others know
or at this point anything. Help!
