Hi Bonnie....
You are not the first person I've seen post in here about continuing to
have endo problems post hysterectomy.
Typically, endo tends to feed on estrogen (although in anecdotal
situations on here I have heard of women having their endo respond to
progesterone rather than estrogen). You may not have been having a
menstral cycle in the sense of bleeding but I would guess from what you
have described that you may have been having the hormone fluctuations
associated with a menstrual cycle. Abdominal pain, back pain, and IBS
are all things I have heard other women on the group mention in the
past.
If you do a google (or similar) search on endometriosis and sup****t you
should be able to find both Heather and Carey's websites which have a
lot of information in them, including I believe links to official
medical sites, etc. Unfortunately I don't recall their URLs right off
the bat.
