Hi Jen,
What is your ob/gyn doing in the form of treatment? Have you had a
laparoscopy done? If not, you need to talk to your ob/gyn about that.
Surgery is the best treatment for removing endo. Please be careful with
the
Lupron. A good friend of mine got epilepsy from only 2 shots of it. It
has
horrible side effects, especially bone loss. Plus, Lupron is only a
band-aid treatment for endo. Meaning once you go off of it, the endo
comes
back, it only suppresses it in the short-term.
You need to find a pain mgmt doctor that understands endo, and trust me
I've
had a hard time finding them!
But if you are taking strong meds like that and they aren't helping, you
might want to check into either getting a second opinion if your ob/gyn
won't discuss surgery, and find another pain mgmt doctor that understands
endo. I hope you feel better! HUGS
